Forklift Lube Technician

We are looking for a dependable and mechanically inclined Forklift Lube Technician to join our maintenance team. The Lube Technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance services on forklifts and other material handling equipment, including oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, fluid top-offs, and basic inspections. This role supports overall equipment reliability and safe operation in a warehouse or industrial setting. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform routine services on both propane and electric forklifts 

• Lubricate chassis, mast chains, lift cylinders, and other critical moving parts 

• Check and top off all fluid levels (coolant, hydraulic, brake, transmission, etc.) 

• Inspect forklift components for wear, leaks, and safety issues 

• Communicate any mechanical issues or potential repairs to senior technicians or supervisors 

• Clean and maintain work area and equipment 

• Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies during maintenance tasks 

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED (preferred) 

• Basic knowledge of internal combustion engines and lubrication processes 

• Experience with industrial equipment or forklifts (preferred but not required) 

• Ability to work with hand tools and maintenance equipment 

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation 

• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and able to service forklifts on the ground in tight spaces   

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Basic understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems 

• Certification in forklift operation or maintenance (a plus) 

Hours are 5:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday
